Civil litigation

Marriage and Divorce

We provide legal advice on marriage and divorce matters, including prenuptial agreements, separation agreements, and divorce proceedings.

Wills and Probate

We assist clients in drafting wills and provide legal advice on estate planning. We also handle probate matters and administer estates.

Trust services

Our trust services include personal and family trust planning, charitable trust establishment, asset transfer and management, legal and tax compliance, trust execution and trust litigation.

Judicial Review

We can provide an application for judicial review, which is a legal remedy that petitions the court to review the legality of decisions, actions, or inactions made by government departments or public institutions performing public functions. If the court deems the application to have sufficient grounds, it may issue injunctions, mandamus, or orders of revocation, among others, to correct or annul improper conduct or decisions by the administrative authorities.

Adverse posession

Our team of lawyers is well-versed in adverse possession laws and assists clients in applying to the court for land ownership or making a defense. Given the scarcity and high value of land in Hong Kong, cases involving such matters usually entail complex legal disputes.

Incorporation of Hong Kong Limited Company and Company Secretary Services

Hong Kong's business environment is renowned for its high degree of freedom and reputation globally. We can assist clients in establishing a Hong Kong limited company and provide company secretarial services. The company secretary plays an important role in the operation of companies in Hong Kong. According to the Hong Kong Companies Ordinance, every limited company registered in Hong Kong must appoint a company secretary to ensure the company complies with all statutory requirements.

Pet legal matters

Conveyancing

Enduring Power of Attorney (EPA)

We assist clients in drafting enduring power of attorney documents, which allow them to nominate someone to make decisions on their behalf in the event that they become mentally incapacitated.

China Legal Services

We provide China investment and trade, corporate financing (H share issuance), and can assist customers in setting up foreign-invested enterprises and agencies. Handling arbitration and commercial disputes. And provide legal advice on Chinese companies and contracts. The Bank also provides China notary services.

Our team of lawyers is familiar with Hong Kong land law, tenancy ordinances, property management regulations, and housing ordinance legal procedures. We handle land and tenancy disputes in Hong Kong.

Anti-Money Laundering legal advice

Anti-Money Laundering (AML) laws are typically designed to prevent the integration of illegally acquired funds into the financial system to make them appear legitimate. These laws regulate financial institutions and other monitored businesses, requiring them to implement a series of measures to detect, prevent, and report money laundering activities. We can provide relevant legal advice, such as on how to develop internal policies and procedures, Know Your Customer (KYC) practices, ongoing monitoring and risk assessment, reporting suspicious transactions, compliance with international standards, regulatory oversight and enforcement, and providing an understanding of the purposes and conceptual legal principles of anti-money laundering legislation.
